As an IT Security Engineer, you will be a member of the IT Security Team — the Delivery Center’s support team tasked with protecting Accenture and its clients from risks to the Manila Delivery Center’s IT infrastructure. Its major roles include IT security incident response, risk assessments, vulnerability assessments and processing of local IT security exception requests. The current client base of the Manila IT Security Team includes internal and global IT operation teams, as well as project and onshore client teams.
Key duties include:
• Conducts investigations of potential internal or external, deliberate or accidental circumvention of security infrastructure and violation of security policies by gathering evidence and preparing reports, i.e., virus infection, copyright protection violations, etc.
• Establishes with the Operations & Incident Response Team plans and programs, delegates and oversees such to ensure appropriate design, implementation and maintenance of security processes/tools to cost-effectively protect information systems assets.
• Analyzes and identifies the need for new and enhanced security processes/tools for Manila Delivery Center infrastructure security systems.
• Identifies security events to determine impact and implementing corrective actions.
• Ensures the proper conduct of investigations and reporting according to established guidelines and policies on potential security breeches or security policy infringements to the Global Security Team.
Requirements:
• Computer Engineering graduate or its equivalent
• Experience in security processes/ tools and infrastructure security systems
• Experience in investigation of security infrastructure (violation of security policies)
• Must be skilled in ISO27001, ITIL overview and change management
