Java / Unix Programmer (lmg)

We are looking for java programmer who will work within the IT Division, CRS Development. The responsibilities include analysis, design, development, unit testing, technical documentation and on-going maintenance of in-house applications. The position involves communication with business units and clients. Primary responsibility involves conversion of C++ programs into Java (J2EE)

Requirements:

•    A college / university degree in Computer Science
•    3 to 5 years recent Java / J2EE programming experience in multi-tier application software.
•    Experience with Tomcat/Apach, Spring Framework, HTML, Active Mqueue
•    Good knowledge of Unix environment
•    Knowledge of C and C++
•    Business knowledge of financial system would be an asset but not required
•    Excellent written and oral communication
•    Understanding of various data format representation
•    Good initiative; can work short and timely deadlines
