We are currently looking for accomplished Software Engineers with proven Microsoft ADO.net programming skills to help us build on that success. You will join our dedicated team of Developers working with a leading edge Microsoft ADO.net and LINQ Technologies in support of our US based client. There are regular opportunities to travel to the US for training and business visa (b1) sponsorship will be provided for the ideal candidate.

Junior Software Engineer

(National Capital Reg - Mandaluyong City, Makati City)

Job Responsibilities:

As a contributor in a dynamic and motivated team working at the leading Microsoft data technologies, you will do the following:

•    Develop an ADO.net 3.5 Entity framework LINQ provider for a database engine.
•    Develop a DDEX provider for Visual Studio
•    Implement applications using proven OO methodologies and Design Patterns for .Net
•    Develop maintainable, commented code that adheres to coding standards
•    Develop and execute unit tests
•    Comply with standard software engineering practices and recommend improvements
•    Promote implementation of software engineering best practices
•    Meet project milestones and delivery goals

Required Qualifications:

•    Minimum 2 years of experience in software engineering
•    Knowledge of the .Net Framework
•    Experience in Visual Studio
•    Experience in developing C# applications
•    Knowledge of UML
•    Must know the common Design Patterns for .Net
•    Experience on ADO.NET 2.0
•    Knowledge on unit testing frameworks (e.g. NUnit)
•    Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
•    Good English verbal and written communication skills
•    Must be self-motivated and able to work in a start-up environment
•    Detail-oriented, thorough, responsible

Other Requirements (Desirable):

•    Knowledge on LINQ and Entity Framework
•    Knowledge of the ANSI 92/99 SQL specifications
•    Knowledge on ADO.NET Data providers
•    Knowledge on DDEX providers
•    Experience in XML
•    Experience in Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle or MySql
•    Research skills
•    Ability to investigate methods for integrating new or emerging technologies
•    Experience working or consulting with a US-based company
•    Passion for leading-edge development using Microsoft technologies
