Requirements:
• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree in Engineering (Mechanical), Engineering (Mechatronic/Electromechanical), Engineering (Metal Fabrication/Tool & Die/Welding), Engineering (Electrical/Electronic) or equivalent.
• Required skill(s): Building Maintenance/Manufacturing or Servicing of Industrial or Commercial Applicances and Facilities
• Knowledge in Value Engineering (Cost effectiveness, technical upgrade, maximizing use of property
• Knowledgeable in computer software such as Excel/Word/PowerPoint/Paint Brush/Auto Cad (added advantage)
• Technical Writing Know-How
• Required language(s): Filipino, English
• At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Preferably 1-4 Yrs Experienced Employees specializing in Maintenance/Repair (Facilities & Machinery) or equivalent. Job role in Building/Facilities Maintenance or Machinery Maintenance.
• Full-Time positions available.
• Applicants should be Filipino citizens or hold relevant residence status.
• Applicants must be willing to work and be assigned to Mandaue, Cebu
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for the supervision of various accredited department service providers/contractors in the maintenance of equipments and facilities of all the stores in the District including all the stores of Greenwich, Red Ribbon and Delifrance that are located within the geographical area of the District.
• Decide which contractor to award project based on his evaluation of the bid proposals of various contractors.
• Decide which parts replacement should be used if no original parts are available.
• Decide based on his evaluation if equipment should still be repaired or replaced.
• Decide how project should be executed for cost effectiveness and less disturbance to store operations.
• In times of emergency he should make quick decisions to prevent loss of lives and properties.
• Ensures that service calls are promptly and properly attended at all times.
• Ensures that downtime of equipments and facilities of stores are kept within the set standard time limits.
• Ensures that maintenance cost of stores are kept at minimum level by assisting his superior in the implementation of Cost Reduction Programs thru sourcing of better quality spare parts at a minimum cost, quality workmanship to reduce recalls and Preventive Maintenance Program to avoid and reduce breakdowns.
• Regularly conducts store inspection in his district to check condition of facilities, equipments and workmanship quality of accredited service providers and to insure compliance to standards and submit reports to his superior.
• Regularly coordinates with his immediate superior, project engineers/store managers, in case of face lifting. Major renovations works etc. and assist in the management of such activities.
• Ensures completion of work orders by attending to them on time and ensure zero pending works. Evaluates work orders and recommends improvement on service process, when necessary to avoid wrong diagnosis and increased maintenance cost.
• Checks and process work orders/service provider/supplier invoices and submit to his respective RME for approval and payment processing.
• Make cost estimates and negotiate with accredited service provider/supplier with the approval of his superior.
• Recommend section objectives and action plans in line with the department’s over-all objective and ensures that these are monitored and complied at all times.
• Source possible service providers/suppliers and recommend to his immediate superior for accreditation.
• Assist his RME in the profitability of their respective RBU at least break even cost of money.
• Regularly coordinates with accredited service providers/supplier pertaining to the maintenance needs of his stores within his district/RBU and updates his immediate superior.
• Assist his RME in the evaluation of Performance of Service Providers/Suppliers performing in their respective District/RBU.
• Regularly updates himself on technical/servicing standards and attend seminars/training pertaining to such and also on Personality Development and Improvement.
• Acts as Officer in Charge in his RBU as assigned by his RME.
• Perform other duties as maybe required.
