.Net / ASP.Net Developer
This person will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, maintaining/supporting .Net, SQL Server 2005 and ASP 3.0 based applications in a highly dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
• An excellent opportunity has risen for an experienced Web Developer to join this expanding development team.
• In this varied and exciting role you will be required to take responsibility for the creation, testing, and management of new and existing Web and. Net applications delivered on the company’s Intranet and Internet sites.
• Assist in all phases of system development cycle: system analysis, design, documentation, testing and deployment
• Proactively monitor supported online systems and react promptly to any alerts, troubleshooting as necessary.
• Handle change requests and provide quick and efficient solutions
• Analyze business requirements and transform them into technical design
• Implement the design to develop and test the functional requirements
• Source code maintenance
• Administer development and production environments. This includes websites and databases.
• Proactively provide ideas and solutions toward the improvement of the site and the business
• Interact with business development and marketing team to understand the business requirements.
• Provide effort estimates and prioritize tasks
• Provide timely functional releases so as to meet fast changing business requirements
• Assess risk and impact on the existing system that may arise due to any requirement or functional change
Requirements:
• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s / College Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or any IT Related fields.
• Proficient in English, oral and written as well as demonstrated analysis and troubleshooting skills
• At least 3 years of experience in developing data-driven web applications and e-commerce solutions using Microsoft’s .Net technology.
• Advanced knowledge in VB.Net 2003/2005, MS SQL 2000/2005, ASP.Net 1.1/2.0+, Web Development (HTML/XHTML, CSS,Javascript), and Windows applications/services.
• Experience in Visual Studio, T-SQL, XML, and ADO.Net
• Familiarity in classic ASP, C#, ASP.Net 2.0, Visual Studio 2005, OOP is a plus.
• Experience in full software development lifecycle and project documentation
• Strong analytical and interpersonal skills are required
• Microsoft Certifications and e-Commerce experience is a plus
• Commitment to detail, quality and customer focus
