Oracle Developer (NCR - Makati City)
Responsibilities:
• This position is responsible for the design and build of PL/SQL stored procedures in a fast-paced dynamic contact center environment. The Systems Development Specialist must be comfortable with tight timeframe expectations while working on all aspects of the software development life cycle without high-quality technical specifications documentation.
• PL/SQL stored procedures - This position is responsible for all aspects of PL/SQL stored procedures across the entire software development cycle. This includes the design creation, testing, deployment and maintenance of PL/SQL stored procedures using an Oracle database environment.
• Oracle Forms/Reports – This position is responsible for on-the-job learning of the Oracle suite of tools including Oracle Forms and Oracle Reports.
• Communication – This position is responsible for effective communication with multiple departments to gather requirements, provide project status and to resolve any requests or issues.
• Documentation – This position is responsible to create and maintain code documentation.
• Miscellaneous – Assist in miscellaneous department activities and projects as needed.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s/College Degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
• 2 or more years of related work experience designing and coding Oracle PL/SQL stored procedures
• Strong organizational skills
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and oral.
• Experience with Oracle PL/SQL. Experience creating stored procedures in version 8i or newer that output data files (reports) is a strong plus. Experience with TOAD or SQL*Navigator also a plus.
• Experience with SQL. This includes experience constructing SQL statements to query/update Oracle databases and experience with SQL*Plus.
• Experience with Unix is a plus.
• Ability to work well under pressure and with minimum supervision.
• Willing to work graveyard shift.
