Organizational Development Manager
Job Overview:
• Design, develop, deploy and facilitate a variety of Organizational Development programs and services
• Functions as an expert facilitator, subject matter expert and/or mentor within their Organizational Development discipline or function
• Partners with teammates to test and implement programs and services for CPS employees
• Conduct systematic needs assessment to identify and assess organization-wide learning and/or program needs
• Identify gaps for learning opportunities and communicate program or service design recommendations based on assessment results
• Create solutions to address organizational needs and recommend learning and service interventions
• Facilitate systematic planning processes by managing projects including establishing objectives and outcomes, developing work plans and schedules and analyzing and mitigating risk
Candidate Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in related field with 6 to 8 years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 3 years experience administering, designing and facilitating programs in management development, leadership development, talent management, technical training or computer-based learning
• Expertise and knowledge of adult learning theories, educational psychology or development principles
• Must have demonstrated performance in all phases of program development life cycle
• Excellent ability to demonstrate innovation and good judgment when making decisions
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong ability to manage projects and lead a team
