We are a US based high-technology company, a leader in delivering high performance solid-state drive and storage management solutions to the military, industrial, enterprise and consumer markets worldwide. We seek highly qualified professionals to fill in the following position for our International Headquarters in Manila.

PRODUCTION PLANNER

The Production Planner shall plan and prepare production schedules for the manufacturing group. The post shall ensure that products are produced efficiently and effectively. Must plan montly production committments including work-in-process to meet shipment dates. Must provide instructions and authorization prior to production. Shall interface with Sales, Cost Accounting, Purchasing and Manufacturing departments in the International Office and the Headquarters. Must represent the company in dealing with Contract Manufacturers here and abroad.

Responsibilities:

•    Shall forecast production for the entire business units, specific programs or job, for each department for m the sales forecasts.
•    Shall provide input to management, reschedule, and/or interface with other departments in case of design changes, labor and material shortages, backlogs and other potential schedule interruptions.
•    Shall check for planning errors during production and recommend corrective action.
•    Shall reschedule / optimize operations to process rush orders or to meet customer needs.
•    Shall account for and plan for any delays, difficulties and other unplanned events.

Qualifications:

•    At least five (5) years experience in Production Planning and Coordinating
•    Graduate of BS Industrial Engineering or any engineering courses
•    Significant experience in semi-conductor or PCB production planning and management
•    Proficient in Project Management and Office Productivity software
•    Have SAP knowledge for Planning Module
•    Must possess strong quality orientation, high work standards and strong planning and control orientation
