Security Analyst
JOB SUMMARY:
Client project management
- Interact with client to identify client security requirements
- Document client requirements
- Conduct regular client security status meetings
- Client audit project management
- Maintain hardcopies of audits and reports
- Interact with IT and Security Consultants to fulfill client projects
- Capture and document client
- Manage client SLA
- Risk management
- Satisfy client security requirements
- Report creation and presentation to client and internal staff
Assist the CISO as follows
- Research unique client requirements such as regulations
- Create security policies and standards
- Help manage security related IT projects
Assist sales in pre-sales activity
- RFP responses
- client audits or questionneras
- client presentations
Occasional travel
- Client site meetings in pre-sales activity
- Educational training
Attend training, education or development programs to assist in improved performance
- Any and all duties that may be assigned by supervisor(s)
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor degree in Computer Information Systems or related business field of study
- 3 or more years in a information security position
- 1 or more years in a security analyst position
- 2 or more years in a security administrative/consultant position
Understand and be familiar with statutory or regulatory compliance and best practices including:
- ISO 17799, ISO27001, PCI, ITIL, SB1386, COBIT, SOX, GLBA
Experience/Knowledge Required:
- Excellent communication skills
- Project management skills
- Technical writing skills
- Organization skills,
- Attention to detail
- Flexibility with diverse personalities
- Professional appearance and demeanor, and ability to maintain confidentiality is essential
- Must have strong sales skills to assist the sales team in pre-sales activity
- Ability to set priorities and work under pressure is essential
- Experience with project management technologies such as Microsoft Project is essential
- Must have an excellent ability to research any topic efficiently
- Must understand and be familiar with current industry and market trends
- Must have experience with information security fraud investigations.
Preferred Certifications:
- CISSP certification
- PMP certification
- ITIL certification
