SQL DBA- B&M
This position involves the administration of databases; which includes planning, installing and configuring of SQL Server. It also involves the following: implementation of changes for in-house or third party applications products; trend analysis reporting and resource management; problem solving; and overseeing of database policies and procedures to ensure the integrity and availability of databases.
Job Requirement:
• College diploma or university degree in the field of computer science, information sciences, or any related field and/or equivalent work experience
• Microsoft MCDBA Preferred
• Minimum 2 years experience in SQL database administration
• Exposure to SQL Server 2000 and SQL Server 2005
• Confident with T-SQL, stored procedures, triggers, writing transformation packages using DTS / SSIS.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong sense of responsibility, self-management, and self motivation
• Ability to conduct research into a wide range of computing issues as required
• Ability to absorb and retain information quickly
• Keen attention to details
• Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
• Exceptional customer service orientation
