Support Engineer
Job Responsibilities:
• Provide support for the IT Infrastructure; this includes troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and resolution of incidents (both alerts and help desk tickets)
• Perform regular and ad hoc IT Operations tasks as defined in the NOC Service Catalog
• Perform special functional tasks as assigned.
Job Requirement:
• Bachelor’s degree holder of any IT-related course
• With 1 - 5 years relevant experience
• Preferably knowledgeable of monitoring systems (Argent, HP SIM, etc.) and tools (Hyena, SizeExplorer, Solarwinds, etc.)
• Practical knowledge of server and network administration
• Familiarity with Active Directory
• Analytical skills in identifying and resolving problems, assessing risks and evaluating alternatives
• Decision making skills in so far as making proper judgment as two when to escalate the matter to 3rd level support
• Discipline and sense of responsibility and accountability
• Technical Skills: Preferably knowledgeable in HP server Firmware and Drivers Deployment, EMC Storage Administration, Server Virtualization, Hard disk RAID, Server Clustering, Citrix Server, Exchange Server, RILO Administration, Trend Micro Control Manager, Altiris, GFI, SQL Enterprise Manager and Query Analyzer, Crystal Reports, LAN and WAN
• Open to work in shifts

Work Description : Duties and Responsibility
1. Maintaining data integrity and ensure workstation security is in accordance with standards and best practice.
2. Updates Incident Management ticket status information (e.g. case notes or work info)
