  • With at least one year experience in collection and disbursement

Special Tasks:
• Submit accurate and timely financial reports and schedules to the Assistant Accounting Manager
• Preparation of Financial Statements
• Maintain correct schedule for all Accounts
• Preparation of trial balance
• Preparation of General Ledger
• Preparation of correct remittances and compliances to government reportorial requirements (SSS, PHIC, HMDF, BIR, and IC)
• Investigate irregularities of accounts to avoid misstatements
• Appropriate classification of accounting entries
• Maintain summaries of Journal Vouchers and adjusting entries
• Preparation of journal/adjusting entries
• Regularly monitor with accounting staff of the status of the collectible certificates of creditable withholding taxes
• Custodian of Books of Accounts
• Prepares Bank Reconciliation on regular basis
• Review remittance reports and approve Accounts Payable and Remittance Vouchers
• Ensures mathematical accuracy of all Trade and Non-Trade Payables
• Review and approve reports prepares by Accounting Staff

ACCOUNTING ASSISTANT

Position Overview:

  • The Accounting Assistant assists in the daily monitoring, analyzing, reconciling the results of accounting entries in the accounting records, summarizing, and reporting the results of operation in a timely and regular manner under the supervision of the General Accounting Section Supervisor. It assists in the detection of errors or irregularities in the accounting entries and proposes adjustments thereon and in the smooth implementation of the existing systems and approved operating procedures in accordance with the accounting policies of the company and assists in the preparation and submission of timely reports to government agencies upon approval.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assists in the recording, bookkeeping and reconciling of the accounting transactions in the accounting records in accordance with the approved accounting policies of the company.
  • Monitors and checks the accuracy of entries posted in the accounting records on a daily basis.
  • Assists in analyzing the entries posted in the accounting records, present findings, and propose correcting, adjusting, or reversing entry to reflect the true picture of the accounting records.
  • Assists in the preparation of Summary of Receipts and Disbursement, related schedules, and Financial Statements — Balance Sheet, Income Statement, and Cash Flow, and other reports required on a regular or per need basis as assigned by the General Accounting Supervisor.
  • Assists in monitoring, developing and proposing necessary policies and procedures that affect the correctness of the information in the accounting records.
  • Assists in the preparation and submission of accurate reports on the result of operations to internal and external users and government agencies in a timely manner as may be assigned from time to time.
  • Assists in developing and proposing necessary policies and procedures affecting the accurate recording of an accounting transaction.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist for the over-all operation of the Accounting at the managed property.
  • Assists in checking and analyzing billing invoices, statement of account, aging of accounts, and lapsing schedules
  • Checks petty cash vouchers, bank checks and debit memos
  • Checks official receipts, deposit slips and check payments
  • All other related tasks as required

Job Requirements:

  • Female not more that 30 years old
  • Graduate of Banking and Finance / Management Accounting / BS in Accountancy
  • Knowledgeable in preparing Financial Statements
